Getrude Kileo is an academician- tutorial assistant at Sokoine University of Agriculture at the department of Natural Resource Management and Conservation, currently a student at the University of Dar es Salaam pursuing master’s degree in natural resource assessment and management (NARAM)

Getrude got her first degree in beekeeping science and technology at the university of Dar es salaam, then employed as a tutorial assistant at Sokoine University of Agriculture and currently taking her further studies in natural resource assessment and management at the University of Dar es Salaam.

In 2019 carried out an undergraduate final year research project on the analysis of biochemical compounds in honey and their possible impacts on human health. Came up with a number of bioactive compounds with various impacts on human health such as slow aging process- functions of antioxidants and anti-inflammation effects.
