MPEGUZI MASUNGA HINILE is an assistant lecturer at the Department of Agricultural Science, Mizengo Pinda campus college.

He is specialized in plant breeding and biotechnology whereby he has been engaging in various research activities concerning crop improvement (maize and common bean) against insect pest and plant diseases.

He is interested improving the crop to ensure food security but also to increase the use of computer based technologies in agriculture and agricultural researches
