Dorothea Kipangula is a tutorial assistant in Bee Resources Management at the Department of Natural Resources Management and Conservation.

Dorothea Kipangula graduated in 2019 with a degree in BSc Beekeeping Science and Technology from University of Dar es salaam.She then joined Sokoine University of Agriculture as a tutorial assistant in 2020 and is currently studying her MSc in Ecosystems Science and Management at Sokoine University of Agriculture,Department of Ecosystems and Conservation.

Dorothea is interested in working on research projects that are based in managing bee resources and community-based conservation projects that aim at restoring and conserving the ecosystem while sustaining their livelihoods.

Dorothea has undertaken a project funded by The Nature Conservancy on Training and consultancy services provision to beekeepers in Kigoma region.
